Education in Liberia is on the path of radical transformation
The Government of Liberia is on a mission to dramatically improve education. In 2016, the Ministry of Education announced the Partnership School for Liberia initiative – a bold plan to unite education providers with a proven track record in delivering high-quality education with public primary schools across the country.
Bridge International Academies is honoured to join the people of Liberia as a partner in this initiative.
Beginning in September 2016, Bridge began implementing its proven education model into selected Liberian public schools to radically improve public education for Liberian children.
In June 2017, Bridge was awarded 43 more schools in Liberia for year two of Partnership Schools for Liberia (PSL) program, taking the total number of schools managed by Bridge to 68.
This was followed in July 2017, by new evidence of learning gains in a midline-assessment demonstrating Bridge PSL public schools experiencing accelerated learning in comparison to their peers in other public schools.
Together, we're on a journey
At Bridge, we believe in the true spirit of this initiative: partnership. Together with educators, parents and community members we will build powerful public schools that embody what all public schools in Liberia should (and can) become--places of Trust, Opportunity, and Pride (TOP!). Together we will co-create schools that deliver on the true promise of education: a future of possibility and opportunity.
Together, we'll change the future
